Please be aware that there is extensive road construction in the Dayton area, both on Interstate 75 and in downtown Dayton. We make every effort to ensure our directions are up-to-date and accurate, but unexpected route changes may occur due to the nature of this construction. The City of Dayton is performing bridge and road reconstruction in the downtown area. Currently closed for replacement is the W. Riverview Bridge.
The state of Ohio's ongoing Interstate 75 modernization project will result in many exit ramp changes through the downtown Dayton area as the project progresses. For more information about this project, we recommend you check the Ohio Department of Transportation website or BuckeyeTraffic.org.
Driving Directions:
From North of Dayton
Southbound I-75 into Dayton
Take the Main Street/Route 48 Exit
Turn Left at base of Exit Ramp onto Main Street
Travel .4 miles then
Turn Right at Riverview Ave. and follow it to the "T" intersection
DAI is straight ahead
To enter parking lot & main entrance:
Turn left at the "T" intersection where Forest Ave. and W. Riverview Ave. meet
Turn right onto Belmonte Park North/ Rev. Edward A. Puff Memorial Blvd.
Turn right into the DAI parking lot
From South of Dayton
Northbound I-75 into Dayton
Take Exit 53B toward Salem Ave.
Turn Left at base of Exit Ramp toward Salem Ave.
Cross Salem Ave. Bridge (and move to right lane)
Turn Right at W. Riverview Ave. (1st street after bridge)
Travel two blocks then
Turn Left onto Belmonte Park N/ Rev. Edward A. Puff Memorial Blvd.
Turn Right into parking lot

A Miami Valley
RTA bus stop is located at the corner of museum property (Forest and Stoddard)
