Summer Art Camp
Get creative and come create! Make discoveries about art, experiment
with materials, build, draw, and use your creative abilities to make one-of-a-kind artwork at The Dayton Art Institute’s weeklong Summer Art Camps!
Campers will explore the museum and engage in hands-on learning
experiences each week, including screen-printing a camp t-shirt, visiting
the clay studio and creating lots of artwork!

Mini Art Camp
PreK - Kindergarten
Campers will enjoy discovering a world of color in this week of half-day camps dedicated to creative art making experiences like painting, drawing and creating sculptures. Campers will explore The Art Place, a new space for young learners in the museum’s Experiencenter, read stories and create artwork all about color!
Youth Art Camp
1st – 2nd grade and 2nd – 3rd grade
Full day camps using clay, paint, sculpture and more to make original 2D and 3D artwork!
New! Special Topics in Art
5th – 6th grade
Full day camps designed to give older campers a more in-depth look at creating art. Special Topics include ceramics, sculpture, art fundamentals, painting and much more!
Teen Summer Institute
7th – 9th grade
An in-depth exploration and training focusing on one medium each week including ceramics, painting, jewelry, and fashion design.
